Margot Brodie Yoga has been a life changing experience for me. After years of searching for things to make me feel happy and complete, I started taking yoga, and finally began to understand that I only had to search within to find happiness. I enrolled in a Yoga Teacher Training program to further my understanding of yoga, and how the physical, mental and spiritual practice of yoga brings personal growth. The experience has shown me that teaching on all levels brings me joy. I combine my past experiences and education in my teaching. Often incorporating quotes and journal questions to bring the practice full circle. Along with a Bachelors degree in English and Teaching I have a Masters Degree in American Literature. I hold several advanced Yoga Certifications and trainings: 200 hours from Open Doors, 500 hours with Jacqui Bonwell, Yin Certification with Sagel Urlacher and other trainings with Baron Baptist, Kathryn Budig, Sadie Nardini , Leslie Kaminoff, and Johnny Gillespie. Yoga, learning and teaching are my passions. I hope each class I teach creates mindfulness and fullness in each day. The most important thing trainings and education have taught me is that life if an ever changing process. Never become stagnant. Learn, listen and try everything.

Kate Krumsiek from the start of my study, yoga combined a variety of interests for me– fitness, breath, alignment, intellect and clarity of mind. I’m inspired by work that incorporates a strong anatomical focus and have become an Integrated Yoga Tune Up® teacher, as well as a regular contributor to their popular blog (http://www.yogatuneup.com/blog/author/kate-krumsiek/). This work, along with my YogaWorks certification, enables me to offer my students a customized practice for their efforts on the mat and increased awareness of their movement off the mat. I want to teach asana, for sure, but more importantly, I want to open students up to the art of listening to their inner selves to guide a personalized practice that serves their needs for that day – wherever they may be.
